Home of the Month Coordinator
Born in a small town in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania. After WWII, my family relocated to Charleston, WV. The next years included school, work as a hospital medical technologist (where I met my husband), marriage, and three children. In 1970 we decided on a life-style change that would include warm weather. We chose a house in Maximo Moorings because of the marina—we had a boat. I immediately fell in love with the area and the people. I learned to play tennis and the kids learned to swim. Years passed – my husband died and the kids flew the nest. But I still love Maximo, and can’t imagine living anywhere else!
