The Maximo Moorings Civic Association was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in 1961. The articles of incorporation state the following:”…the purpose for which the corporation is organized is to promote any and all activities for the betterment of the subdivision known as Maximo Moorings… ; to oppose any and all activities that might lessen the attractiveness of Maximo Moorings as a residential community.”"Any individual owning or leasing property in Maximo Moorings subdivision shall be eligible for membership”A fifteen member board of directors is elected by the membership to carry out these activities on behalf of all residents.The Maximo Moorings Civic Association promotes the prevention and correction of residential code violations, traffic calming measures on our streets, sidewalk installations by the entrances, and the presentation of your views on public issues that impact and affect our community.
